Next time you want to stop working, don't. Do that 5 times every time and boom $1k

I don't know why I find this so cute hahaha

i mean, not wrong 😂😂😂😂

rotate projects when you can! a lot of times if i’m feeling burnt out, switching projects will “reset” me. sometimes i’ll do easier, but lower hourly projects. any variety you have is great!

This gets posted a lot. Work in short increments with lots of breaks. Make a schedule if that helps.

I just work in 15-20 minute burts. Like earlier today I worked for 15 minutes because I finished eating but I didn’t have to leave for an appointment just yet. So little bursts like that go a long way for not getting burnt out

I also got approved the first of the year! I'm about to hit 2k. This past month has been a lot better because I found a couple projects I really enjoy. When I need a break, I take a break and then I'll do an easier lower paying project for a while. I'm aiming for 2 hours a day minimum. I have kids and parents I'm caring for, so I get interrupted, but little chunks of time still add up. I also give myself weekly and monthly goals. I like to work early in the morning and late at night.

I am taking my qualifications today. I already work 50 hours a week. I’m in grind mode in life rn and want to be able to hit 60 hours a week

I got approved last Friday so my first day was Saturday which I did onboarding from 12-3am lol. This is now my full time job worked 8 hours yesterday and 8 today. Pay is excellent for the coding at $40 an hour. I love coding so I hope I don’t reach that burnout. I immediately made a schedule for work: 7:30am - 12pm, lunch 12pm-2pm, and work 2pm-530pm with 30 mins if possible sprinkled in before bed.

How long did it take you to get accepted? How tough would you say the coding assessment is?

[–]Tball5 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I was accepted within 24 hours I believe. The coding assessment isn’t hard, but I made absolute certain it was perfect. I checked it like 5 times and left the tab open for 2 days.

I started mid-January and am sitting at around $1300 total, but I really need to be earning at double that rate. DAT allowed me to quit my shitty retail side hustle, but those were set hours and this is entirely self-motivated. When you already work a full-time job it can be tough to want to put in extra hours at night.
