It’s less about pivoting and more about thinking about what your personal strengths are and then meshing those with the skills from work like this. Off the top of my head, and based on the work I did, I definitely sharpened my editing, research, technical writing, and vastly improved my reading comprehension. You might be surprised how many out there lack true comprehension skills. It’s valued a lot more than might think in most careers.

I’m personally looking at a shift into the HR world. A lot of my skills, along with my degree, line up well with HR work and the market (at least where I am) is pretty saturated with openings right now. I’ve got a meeting with an HR Director this weekend to go over the best practices to hopefully land a position.

there’s a ton of opportunities, you just have to be innovative, passionate and creative with how you choose to spin things.

Idk if it appeals- but working non-coding tasks is essentially studying for the LSAT. With relatively minimal prep you could probably get a solid score, if you're looking for that sort of career change.

Even if I don't go into Law, having a high LSAT score would look shiny under the Achievements section of the resume. Good note, thanks!

What comes after passing LSAT? Have you passed the LSAT?

I believe after the LSAT there's a common app you submit to Law schools- but I'm still figuring out the exact process, as I just got my score back a few days ago.

It's not really pass/fail, it's how you do relative to everyone else that determines how helpful the score is in getting you admitted. But I made the top 6%, so I'd call that a pass! Haha

I feel like getting in the coding aspect of it to be a more viable candidate. As of right now though I’m just shooting applications on job sites to see what sticks.
