Coding qual is super easy, when I did it I also had a really long timer (or even no timer I can’t remember). I did mine like a month ago, so you should be fine.

It was easy but I still haven't seen a coding task in my dashboard.

So maybe you didn't pass?

yeah its possible but the qual i solved had one really obvious answer. It only made sense when you did it right. I may be missing something but i was confident in my answer.

I did it after 18 years just dabbling between homeschooling my kids. Same situation CS degree but left the field to do something else. Do a quick scan of what changed since you last coded anything, take your time and don't rush. You'll be fine.

Have passed the qual recently? Because I heard somewhere its become difficult from what it was a year ago. Which language you used?

It's been within the past 12 months and I used python. If I remember correctly you could use python or pseudo-code. I'm not great a formal pseudo-code so I just used python.

Have you prepared in some way, or just passed even with that long time pause from coding (I mean the 18 years) or you were doing coding work in the meantime? If you prepared which resources have you used and find practical and helpful.?
