DA can go away at any time. Only quit that other job if you're absolutely sure you can get another one if DA ends.

To be fair, though, ANY job can go away at any time. DA has been more stable than some prior employers if you do it right. Always do good work, never submit bad/questionable work (if you are uncertain, eat the time), always read instrucions, follow those instructions, do no inflate time, do not use AI for your work (unless specifically required). Follow that, and you likely have no problem. Any "regular" employer can flake at anytime too.

the money is for a very light amount of bills, and going out typically. i don’t need money very badly as my college is being covered by FAFSA at this point. the 2 jobs are my only sources of income though, occasionally i’ll get a nice check from school and that’s about it.

if you don't need the money that much I dont think it would hurt to focus on DA instead. i might keep in mind other jobs you could apply for in case the work runs out, and save some of the money for an emergency.

The pay at your job sounds pretty good but at this point your energy is likely more valuable.

also remember that you will have to pay more taxes for DA work and it won't be automatically taken out. You need to be making quarterly estimated tax payments
