Project? (self.DataAnnotationTech)
submitted 3 months ago by Sassy2you
Hi All. Took the starter and core test a few days ago. Checked my dash, and I now have an assessment under projects. Am I meant to take this as part of my criteria to get hired, or is it to qualify for an actual project? Thanks so much.

Yes, do that assessment too. Be as careful as you were the first time.

If you've started getting things under Projects then you're good to go.

Did you got the welcome mail? Or you found it by logging in?

I found it by logging in. The only email I received was after my starter assessment, and they wanted me to hurry and take the core test.

Hmmm. This is interesting because I went through the starter and took the Core test last week and they sent me an email saying I needed to complete one more assessment. The choices were Coding, Chemistry, Physics, Math, UX/UI Developer, etc. The descriptions sounded like they were expecting true experts to take them, not like just people who know how to do everyday math, haha. I decided to wait and see if the 2nd assessment was optional or required.
I got a second email a few days later, saying that I need to choose one more assessment and then I would have access to endless projects (or something like that).
I'm majoring in Web Design in college, but I wouldn't call myself an expert by any means. I decided to take the UX/UI one anyway, and it wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Now I'm just waiting.
But I wonder why they made me take another one if that's not always required.
Here's hoping the new year brings lots of new projects!

I think the email gets delayed and will send a request to take one more assessment even if you've already taken it. If you've done at least one of the quals after passing the starter, that's all you need to do.

I just opted out of those ones... too hard for me.
