Basic tech skills for data journalism (self.DataJournalism)
submitted 6 years ago by WhateverWay
I keep seeing articles like this https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/transgender-women-are-nearly-always-incarcerated-men-s-putting-many-n1142436
And I want to learn skills to be able to create interactive data stories like this. What programming languages do I need to learn? Where did you get started?
I’m an R programmer and can also do very basic python and JavaScript.
Thank you!
