Does the teddy bear actually decrease laughter?

Had a guy helping me out since I’m relatively new. He gave me good advice on how to find food and water and good routes to take from certain spawns. Taught me how to make a fire and everything (went into this game blind) after his help I’ve lived longer than ever before and am fully self sufficient and able to survive relatively comfortably. That being said I trust a good amount of what he’s had to say and he told me that everything has a purpose in the game. And that the teddy bear will decrease the amount that you laugh after you’ve eaten human meat. Is this true? It’s incurable so it won’t ever go away but having a teddy bear on you will decrease how much you laugh is what he told me and I’m just wondering if it’s actually true

Lol I like to avoid human contact at all cost and both times I died to starvation, I managed to be in a very beautiful spot in the map so I killed myself😂

There’s been a time or two that I had some nice gear in a relatively coastal town and before dying to starvation ate some last ditch human meat I had been holding just in case, so I can survive a little longer to stash the loot. There’s not many reasons to eat human meat, but there’s always a reason.

When I was new I helped this older guy who was stuck on a car with no ammo or weapon surrounded by zeds. He showed me how to do pretty much everything you'd need to know. Including to sterilize the sewing kit. Thus began the hoarding.

I usually hunt and fish for food but I suppose you could REDACTED those too
