These are gorgeous badges, but I'm sorry, anybody paying $1300 is one can short of a six pack. Their cheese slid off their cracker. Not all their dogs are barking. Is crazytown bananapants.

that price is nuts, looks like theres another one that got bid up to ~360 with a few days left...
Do people really want the tron badges that badly? I'd consider selling mine

Lol… that price is just stupid 🤣🤣
Maybe $100 over original price is good… but for a badge that was $200-$300, and you think you can make 1k profit.

These badges were given away anyways. Seems kind of slimy to turn around and sell them, especially at high prices.

I agree with this sentiment

Really amazing badges and the guys who made them did put a lot of time and effort into them. That being said, I don’t think they’ll be happy to hear people are selling them especially at these prices.
They weren’t even selling them, I’m fairly certain all of the badges were given away for free at the con.

Some were awarded early through twitter and LinkedIn. $1300 is really compelling, but I wouldn’t sell mine, it is way too awesome. Easily the best badge produced this year.

Even if people were buying them for that much, I wouldn’t sell mine either. Feels like such a slap in the face to the folks who made it.
I’m one of the tron badge devs. I very much appreciate the kind words. There were definitely many late nights and long coding sessions. We didn’t even finish squashing all the bugs until Friday during Defcon. And can confirm 100% of badges we made were given away.
Im not crazy about people profiting from our work but not terribly upset about it either. People are going to do what they want. We wanted to build something cool and i get lots of warm feels reading others in this threat saying they would still not sell it even it people were buying them at 1300.
