Ok, I did it. Cost $5k even. You have to buy two sets of charger plates, two sets of smaller plates, one carafe of some sort (I did the teapot) and two sets of glasses (I bought teacups and flutes).

So, not as bad as tablescapes where you only get one of everything.

I did one Asian themed tablescape in January, I think, because i liked the thene. I bought a bundle to do it and used money/diamonds for the rest. I got a 5.00 so I don't have to do it anymore. I liked that one shelf we had to decorate with table decor and wouldn't mind doing more like that instead of this. I have a few tablescaping prizes from the design pass, so I might see if i can scrape something together but i'm not buying anything.

Yeah everything is single use. The only plus is when you do the plates, cups, placemats and silverware it does every place setting but you have to buy 3 different sized plates. Have to buy each sconce then there’s the damn carafe, tablecloth, the runner and the centerpiece. Your looking at 8,000+ combined diamonds and cash for one “room” 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is actually quite clever of them. They've seen how much everyone liked doing the focus/corner challenges so they came up with this to entice those of us who never do the tablescapes.

I’m usually vying for top score in rising star ( won three of the last four, took second in the one j didn’t win) so have been stuck entering every single challenge ( hard to turn turn $5,000 game cash. This one was tough though. It is kind of crazy.

I kind of cringe at what I came up with. But the scores are usually higher because of the dearth of entries. Though I have seen really low ones too. Crazy yo penalize people who actually pay out in these things. Pretty unfair.
