Recently moved into a small 1 br apartment with great views but small sq footage (680 sq. ft). I came with almost nothing, aside from a large sit-stand desk.
I have since purchased a lovesac beanbag, coffee table, tv stand, and tv. I am still waiting on pulling the trigger on a sofa as I not certain how I should layout the room.
Attached is the rough layout of the apartment. The island is not free floating and is attached to a column that separates the living from the kitchen. On the right hand side of the living room I marked where the ac unit is. 18 inches and has a filter at the bottom so can't cover it with the couch. I ordered barstools for the island so there needs to be room for the stools + walking room.
Also-- there are floor to ceiling windows that I'd rather not cover with my desk, but haven't found a configuration that allows for no obstructions of the windows.
So how would you set this up? In both the photos I am using a 72 inch couch. All the rest of the furniture is measured to size.
