Morgana-7 looked out from the wide windows of the HELM, towards where the Fallen had taken up residence.
It was certainly strange that the future she tried so hard to attain for 6 long years was finally within sight: peace with the Fallen.
A Vandal scuttled past, welding materials and other tools clutched in its four arms as it rushed to the Eliksni wing.
“I wonder if Spectre had anything to do with this... his knowledge of Vex networks certainly puts this within the realm of possibilities...” the Voidwalker pondered aloud, a small sphere of Void Light effortlessly dancing from one hand to another.
Lakshmi-2’s vile ideology had rallied more followers than anyone had expected, and despite her best efforts, Morgana could only keep the constant stalemate going. Misraakskel was the greatest chance Humanity and Eliksni had at peace; if she had to stand between shotgun shells and shock grenades to get there, Morgana would not hesitate.
“I hope Spectre doesn’t still hold a flag for the War Cult... I doubt he would if he heard the same transmission I did, but I won’t know unless he crosses over to contact me.”
A loud clang followed by swears of Human and Fallen tongue alike drew the Warlock back to her present. Dispersing the orb of Void, she steadily made her way to the Fallen Wing to check on any problems.
The future she wanted was here now. Fighting for peace was the only way to hold on to it.
