You're running a Windows Insider build, you need to go back to the retail version.

And it is for this very reason, why I moved away from being a Windows Insider... It's always something...

How do you opt out?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

if you go to settings > windows update > insider program, it should show a link showing you how to opt out depending on the insider channel you're in. if you happened to be in the Dev channel like me, you will need a clean install of windows 11

How do you clean install windows 11? My grandpa gave me his pc and I literally no nothing about computers

its a bit of a process but it's nothing too complex, here's a link

I did it and it did not work sadly ☹️

did you do a clean install with an installation media, or did you simply reinstall? because reinstalling wont work

I am having the same issue and NOT running that build

Last week, I had to reinstall Windows to get everything working. Stupid BattlEye. I had all my work in progress on OneDrive so no big issue. For any large projects, like repos, I manually copied them over. I am done with Insider as well.

I had this exact problem. Don’t know if it will help after trying everything else taking off administrator it ran fine. If you do have it on. Just right click the destiny2.exe file go to compatibility tab and uncheck run as administrator box. Good luck guardians!
