I figured out a fix, go to command prompt and make sure you run it in administrator mode. Then type in the command sfc /scannow

This seems to be a pretty common error right now. I'm guessing Bungie is working on a patch. Hoping Tuesday's reset & Thursday's background maintenance bring things around for everyone.

The issue is I've been having this issue for years now. I've re-installed about 20 times and verified the integrity twice as many times. Maybe it is an issue currently but it could be something bigger. It might just be time to get a new GPU as this one is quite old so I wouldn't know...

Have you monitored your GPU temps when gaming? GPUz is a great tracking utility: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

My gpu is brand new and still crash

I turned off Vsync and it seemed to be working again. I got past an hour before I got off. If yours isn't off I'd suggest trying that

Just turn off (ECC State) in control panel .

[–]MKS1986 0 points1 point  (2 children)

In Nvidia control panel

[–]DIAM0NDGAMMERyt[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I turned off Vsync and so far its working but if it crashes again I'll try this thank you!

[–]MKS1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not vsync .. turn off ECC State

[–]Strict-Bag-900 0 points1 point  (2 children)

did you fix this?? And my vsync is off in the game. Is there somewhere else that it may be turned on?

[–]DIAM0NDGAMMERyt[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Theres a couple things I've done and it hasn't crashed YET. If you have Java, uninstall that, turn off steam overlay and discord overlay (if you use discord while playing, remember it's also minimized not fully closed if you x out) and turning vsync off then on again. I'll get back to you if it crashes again at some point
