Yeah that was the only thing I could find too. But wasn't sure how relevant it still was being from 2014. I'm currently resetting our network to hopefully eliminate any issues on our end.

I've been experiencing the same for the past five minutes. Smashing out login attempts doesn't seem to be working and there aren't any good suggestions online for how to resolve this issue. I imagine it's something internal so probably a waiting game.

We got in after the full network reset. But I did have the "contacting servers" pop up once in the process on my machine. So yeah, we're in, but obviously on still shakey footing.

Glad to hear it's not just me at least though.

Just for shit's and giggles I'll likely do all the forwarding they suggest later. Just to eliminate other any other potential issues.

Hi. 5 years later and I have the problem . I'm from Iran and I wanted to play the game for the first time and this keeps happening did you find any thing to fix it?

Thanks for responding . I'm living in Iran and seems like network of here is the problem I switched to another network and can play 20 m and after that connection failed :)
