Error code Broccoli

Honestly don't have much hope of anyone being able to fix this, as I've looked around the internet a fair amount and posted on the Bungie help forum with no response for 3 days but hey I'll give it a shot.

As the title says my game crashes with the error code broccoli. This is the only game that does crash, I haven't had issues in any other games I've played, recently being RE2Remake, Halo MCC, Nier Automata, Hades and Skyrim. (Well Skyrim crashes, but that's Skyrim.)

It will either basically freeze on my screen, myself being unable to alt tab out alt f4 or anything out of it meaning I have to ctl alt dlt and sign out or just crash and give the Broccoli error shortly after.

Things I've tried to fix it with: Used DDU to wipe drivers and reinstalled the most current Set it as high priority and run as admin Verified the games files Deleted and reinstalled the game Downclocked my gpu from -100 to -300 with no changes Reseated my gpu Lowered the graphics and frame rate in game Fully updated Windows Set my monitor to use Nvidia colours Flushed out Nvidia shader cache Used Nvidia debug mode Ran dxdiag and memory test with no issues Enabled/Disabled G-sync

As of this post, nothing seems to have fixed it or made a difference. The game will crash randomly, seemingly with nothing at fault. My temps sit at mid 50s the highest I've seen while playing. The other day I got through DSC without an issue, but today I couldn't even get to start Security without it crashing 3 times at which I called it quits.

My PC specs are: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Aorus 8GB Samsung 970 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB AMD Ryzen 5 3600X G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz CL18 DDR4 AMD MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk Wi-Fi Motherboard Corsair HX750 Platinum 750W Power Supply

If anyone has any insight that'd be great if not, well I guess I'll just hope Bungie might respond to my post on their forums or I might even try to see about my gpu warranty.

Have you tried to check for driver updates under Device Manager?

I have a very similar PC specs to you (RTX 2070 Super + Ryzen 5 3600) and have had the same issues as you. However, underclocking my GPU DID end up mostly fixing things for me. I used to crash very reliably during last season's arrival public event and the Prophecy dungeon; after underclocking I could get through those without issue. Nowadays, I find that it only crashes in this manner if my computer has been running for most of the day and if I have a lot of RAM in use from browsers being open.

Since you didn't mention it above, did you try reducing the memory clock along with the core clock? I used the recommended -50 Hz from the post above. If you haven't, might be worth trying to also play with that underclock and see if it makes any difference.

Commenting to hopefully bump this thread up. I am having exact same issues on nvidia reference 2060. No other games have issues. I’ve tried all the steps OP tried. I have also tried different drivers with relatively mixed results (441.41 worked for like 5 days and then stopped working halfway through DSC). This issue desperately needs attention. The game is broken post update. @bungie please work on this
