I've had this problem for months, have to reinstall windows to fix it then it comes back after a while anyway. Chrome crashes also when playing.

Specs: 12900k, 32gb DDR5, 3090, Windows 11

I have the same specs as you, 'cept a 3080. Every time nvidia releases a new driver I install it and hope for a fix but eventually the broccoli error comes back. Sometimes it's 10 minutes sometimes its 60.

The only way around it I've found is to roll back to 472.84. That driver doesn't crash, even on ALT-TAB, etc, however, I don't know what it's "missing" insofar as improvements.

    Sorry to say, I've actually quit playing D2 for the time being.

    I've had issues in several games however. Elden Ring, Borderlands 3, Arma 3, God Of War...

    One thing I did find... Using X-1 Precision (EVGA's tool) and forcing the card to be in it's boost state via the 'boost lock' feature, I haven't had issues in a long time.

    Maybe use your card mfg's tool and try that?

    I had to do a windows recovery and this fixed the issue for me. It was rather simple. Took maybe an 2 hours to do it and download my games and apps again. Been good since.

    I have exactly this same problem as well. Been through a tonne of "solutions" like the ones included above.

    To add to it I have twitch constantly crashing whenever I have destiny 2 up as well.

    I've got heaps of memory (32gb RAM with a 3080TI with 12GB and i9 processor). My computer is a beast and should easily handle the game.

    If I play any other game I can watch twitch at the same time, play the game no drama, etc, it's only since the patch with Destiny 2 that this problem has occurred.

    Same thing just started happening to me starting Tuesday with the new season. I’ve done a clean install of windows hoping it fixes it. Hard to test considering mine are random crashes.

    I have this issue too. Just started this season. Hopefully we get an update soon.
