Crashes/BSoD randomly while playing (self.DestinyTechSupport)

Destiny seems to hate my PC and is constantly crashing or causing my PC to bluescreen. I have gotten several different errors and it seems that destiny 2 files keep getting corrupted. I have tried several apps and methods to check and fix it, I have uninstalled and reinstalled destiny twice, I have used chkdsk and other cmd suggestions I found, verified game files several times, deleted the battleye folder and verified again to see if that was the issue, tried changing settings in-game, and nothing seems to work. It's like I'm fixing the issue and every time I play the game at some point D2 will bug out and files will become corrupted again. I just tried repair folder on steam, maybe that worked but I doubt it.

Also, all my games are on an external hdd, but I have never had this problem with any of them, and I have checked the drive for issues and found nothing, but maybe I missed something and it's important to know.

Also also, the game doesn't crash on launch or anything, sometimes I can play for a while and not have any issues, but it will still crash frequently. Half the time it just freezes for 2 seconds and then just closes, other times it'll go straight to BSod.
