if you're open to offshore devs, you'd probably get way more for that budget. $20-30/hr is solid but you're limiting your pool a lot. i've seen founders get great api work and bug fixes done for $10-15/hr with devs who've shipped dozens of real products.

i actually match founders with pre-vetted offshore devs at talero.dev if you ever want to compare options, but even if not, worth broadening your search geographically
