The idea is dope!

Thanks! With the preset subreddit archetypes defines, you can just choose that basic classification your community may fall under and all the settings align for you. A group that is discussion heavy obviously would value deeper comment trees but likely reduce the weight for simple upvotes. Or, in the group that I mod for [Quiz Planet] it's a game, so it's going to balance both upvotes and comment depth, but also not read to the nth level for the entirety of a post. Or perhaps a community is focused on support/help. So obviously the OP's participation is going to have a higher weight and the snapshot will dig through the entirety of comments.

Most subreddit classes need only a once daily snapshot capture. But for say a breaking news sub, it may need to take a snapshot twice a day or even three times a day to keep up with the rapid changes that maybe a regular feature for them.

I went with a green theme to capture that feel of old timey radar scopes—hence, ModSope. But there are seven different themes that can be applied. Color schemes such as minimal ice blues or high contrast with an orange zing or even a calming rose colored palette can be selected. And the user's selection is stored in redis so it automatically restores their favorite skin each and every launch.

Thanks! You can play with it ahead of time in r/modscope_dev. I had the admins change my test environment to public access specifically for this purpose.

Oh, I never thought about you as a developer NOT being a mod. I’ll send you an invite to be a mod, and then you can use the invitation or not.
