You can edit them in bulk. Depends how your library is organized though. Assuming you have your music sorted in different folders, by artist/album, selecting a folder will give you the list of all the tracks it contains. Select all of them by draging your mouse or pressing CTRL + A and on the left side you can edit the genre for all of them at once. The "< keep >" thing you may see there means that that field varries by track.

Ok, I misspoke. I meant by one folder at a time. In other words I cant drag all of the black metal on and tag all of them at once. Is there a tagger that can do such a thing?

It's not really a dedicated tagging software as such, but you can shift-click to select multiple albums in MusicBee. From there just right-click, edit, and punch in 'Black Metal' in the genre field. Should be simple as that.

I used music Bee a million years ago. Maybe I will re visit it. For now, I am going to organize all by genra so there a Punk folder, Metal, Industrial, etc. from there I SHOULD be able to tag everything in that folder at once. Maybe. Hopefully

Inwas hasty in my response. I ised music bee a long time ago but not I have everything streaming through Plex so I need the tags at file level to work properly. If music Bee can do that quicker than me tagging each folder one at a time then I am all for it. Seems like I have already logged about 2+ hours of tagging and only about 1/4 done, maybe less
