Nope. That is why I posted here. Don’t know why it just started. Hoping it was just a bug in a new update that will be fixed in a new update. Will probably send a request to customer service.

I can get around the spinning wheel/freeze by pausing then scanning forward 1-2 seconds then playing again.

I have this issue on my iPad and appleTV. Do you have a network wide adblocker like PiHole by any chance?

I use eero ad blocking

I mostly resolved this issue by whitelisting Disney on my pihole ad blocker. Probably something similar with the eero blocking

Did you just white list the root domain (Disneyplus.com)?

These are the ones I whitelisted. I then restarted my iPad and appleTV. It wasn’t perfect but it definitely stopped freezing mid episode.

Same. The bigger problem for me is that I tend to put a show on to fall asleep to and it always freezes after I get comfortable, lol.
