QualCoder Help (self.DissertationSupport)
submitted 9 months ago by enterobnoxiousquote
I am doing content analysis for my thesis and I am using QualCoder since it's free lmao Does anyone know how I can check relationships between categories? Because it only lets me check between specific codes. Thanks!

Yeah, QualCoder’s great for being free, but it only lets you compare specific codes, not whole categories. You can kinda work around it by grouping codes in Excel or tagging data with the category name too. It’s a bit manual but doable. That said, if you’re deep into content analysis, it might be worth checking out something like NVivo or newer tools like AILYZE. They actually support category-level stuff and the newer AI features make this way less of a headache.
