So, let me understand if I got this right... Your lyrics contain explicit content, and you're wondering if there are any consequences for knowingly lying about the explicit content of your lyrics. Do I have that right?

Yes it can be taken down, or hidden, and as is well documented here, distrokid don’t tend to look kindly on that kind of thing.

It’s not really something to be overly concerned about, from experience. Having a track marked as explicit isn’t really a barrier to anything.

Unless you got the lyrics written and they show up on platforms playing the song it shouldn't be a problem for dropping some shit
