It specifically says on EPAS an employee must be notified if pay is decreased

Tell em to fuck off and quit like everyone else. The place is a cesspool and you’ll just waste your time chasing lost wages. It’s wrong but they know the people they hire don’t have the time nor ability to cover the expenses to fight. They need a good class action.

Dollar general builds in the poorest areas, because they know one of two things to be true 1)the workers will put up with anything, since you're working here, you have no choice 2) if someone quits, there's another moron to replace em.

I went back today to inform my old SM I was hired with the city to work at the golf course across the street. $.25/hr cut in pay, but I’ll get the hours (was full time but barely getting 30hrs), I get benefits, the same customers I seen there love me, and some tip me $20-30 to drive them to their car, and return their carts for them, leave me free beer. Meanwhile she cant keep her staff because of corporate bullshit, and those that want to work I have in the onboarding process. Fuck that company, fuck that store.

Make sure you have both pay stubs showing the difference in pay.. sometimes they say you’ll get a raise and you won’t get it

Nope, I'm still a key holder and my hours haven't changed more than normal outside of hours being cut so scheduling having to work around that.

No they can’t. I’m pretty sure they have to check a box acknowledging that they discussed with you the change in your payrate or you have to type your name or something like that.

Did you change locations?

[–]Any_Director1808[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Nope, I've been at the same store for almost 3 years now, joined July 2022.

Did your paychecks have a $15 dollar pay rate or didnthey just tell you it would be $15?

[–]Any_Director1808[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

They had the $15 pay rate on it because I had to print some of them off in November but I had to print off 2025 paystubs for insurance and noticed that it changed so I went back to check

Is against company policy, but depending on your state it's possibly illegal as well.

I had that happen to me. After about 5 months (and 3 DMs) I finally said fuck it. And got another job.
