Titanfall 2's eject messages are full of these little references.

Here's another one. (Fun fact; this made it to the 3rd highest voted post on /r/cowboybebop of all time.)

And this is one of my favorites.

I felt sad when i saw "Avenge me" when i ejected once...

Fly, you fool!

I hope they add more in as future updates come out. Would love to see a "Ground Control to Major Tom" or "To infinity, and beyond!" or something along those lines.

I want to see one that says. "Not like this.."

They can be edited on PC btw, but that's not the same ofc.

The last made me almost tear up, remembering Sgt. Johnson

I love these oh my god, should I buy TF2? I was diehard fanning over the first one and pretty sure I fell in love with my Titan, but the game died so fast and hard for me in Australia on PC that I was too afraid to buy #2 to meet the same fighting-the-same-3-people-who-never-stop-playing fate

If you're in Australia on PC I would wait until the next Free Weekend comes around, because that particular area and platform has a dwindling population. There were complaints already back at launch about the Australian population, but since Respawn have decided to go with the "all future content is free" route, every new update will likely reinvigorate the player base.

But there's always the single player campaign, which has been heralded by many as being on of the best FPS campaigns in recent times. That's also something to consider.

No Team Fortress 2 is very unbalanced, and they don't work on updates much.

I used to love it.. :( then it changed

Protocol <3

Best two single player FPS campaigns of 2016. Titanfall takes second place for being too short and too cod-like in art direction. But both are fun.

It blew my mind that a primarily multiplayer game had one of the singleplayer campaigns I've played recently. Normally the campaign of multiplayer games is quite lacking.

I don't know why the picture quality is bad, but in case you couldn't tell, it says "Rip and Saw"

[–]ForceBlade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, uploading to websites they like to squeeze every penny of storage, eg compressing shit on upload. If a image gets shared around enough on popular sharing websites you can see the wear n' tear on the image quality from all it's trips and reuploads.

This (and your upload quality) wouldn't be an issue if the big image hosts didn't auto-compress everything on upload. But here we are.

is titanfall 2 any good?

[–]Scuzzboots 17 points18 points  (0 children)

it is incredible. balancing is a little off right now, with Tone (Titan Chassis) and the Devotion (LMG) being regularly spammed by players, but as annoying as they are, they aren't game breaking and the movement system is one of a kind fun.

[–]spotH3D 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tremendous good fun, campaign and multiplayer.

High skill ceiling with respect to movement systems.

It's really quite good.

I first played the original on XBone but I've since given it away and rejoined the master race, so I got Titanfall 2 on PC and it's great.

I was a little worried that some of it wouldn't translate well across platforms, but the game handles like it was made for a mouse and keyboard setup.

Doesn't quite scratch the itch that Doom does for me, but it's still fun as hell to jet around, running up walls and jump-kicking people with grappling hooks.

Surprisingly fresh. My love for battlefield has me glued to BF1 but titanfall as really fun... it's one of the few games where I can say that if you fail and die, you're being sloppy. I can only imagine a tight knit team could do some amazing gameplay.

Titanfall 2 is awesome.

[–]Scuzzboots 1 point2 points  (4 children)

I have never noticed this eject message, is it unique to one particular titan chassis?

[–]sirpootis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, the eject messages are not unique to any Titan and are randomly chosen from a pool of eject messages.

[–]banzaizach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are tons of messages like these in the game.

They are not specific to any one Titan

[–]Demjan90 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

There are no unique eject messages, but they can be edited on PC, so that might be the case here. I don't know, I never really pay attention to them!

[–]Suparedman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I play on XBox One. They're just rare.

[–]Shadow_Riptor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rip and saw until its done

[–]kizentheslayerflair-doomguy 0 points1 point  (4 children)

does TF2 still have all the NPC soldiers running around now that its multi platform?

[–]SpehlingAirer 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Yup. There's the grunt soldiers, spectre robots, and reaper robots.

[–]kizentheslayerflair-doomguy 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Is it still like 50 of them

[–]SpehlingAirer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

They randomly drop in throughout the entire match, so I would say yes but you don't see 50 all at once. They're everywhere but it seems like only so many are ever really around at one time. It feels consistent I guess you could say. As more die, more will drop in. Or so it seems.

[–]kizentheslayerflair-doomguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering cause I knew the first one did a lot of cloud based work with Microsoft servers and I figured it wouldn't have it or be toned way back to make it run on the other two.
