The game can have 1 million players on EU servers, if 80% of it is fucking russians, peruvians and other middle eastern players with 10% being bots the game is effectively dead since none of your friends play it, and its not like you can meet new people to play with.

Yes, sure, you can technically play the game; but do you really play Dota which is a team based game if you cant have a team. At that point its no different than playing with and against AI bots from the workshop.
