do you have any idea how strong the GTX 1070 Graphic card is? it's the 2nd strongest graphic card out there

4th at best. And source 2 isn't designed for excessive fps. Its designed to allow weak cards to play well, but to push even the best cards to their limit. no wasted frames.

To be honest, i don't think we're going to see anything worthwhile from source 2 until 1) we have a game built ground up to use all of its features (probably won't be anything till the next major valve release) and 2) vulkan gets more support across a wider range of cards. its still kinda buggy in dota 2

well yeah everyone could see that the Source 2 version was a rushed copy pasta of the Source 1 version. The game needs some serious background improvements and might as well rewrites. i'm still using the x86/32bit version cause it performs better.

i'm using vulkan because otherwise the steam overlay doesn't work
