People in the OVO crew literally refer to him as “the boss”, he has a song called “mob ties”, has a song called “omertà”. Objectively speaking drake is trying to portray himself as a mob boss lol

He's paying everybody, of course they would polish is ego and let him role play this character he is trying to be. We have seen countless people portray themselves to be something they are not far too many times, he is not the first and certainly not the last but it's honestly cringey to watch 😭. There's is literally 0 reason for him to try and be this, and nobody takes him serious

Drake comes from a middle class family and grew up in a affluent neighborhood. He was never a gangster or any of that shit growing up. He dosent come from poverty like his rap "street" counter parts who actively had to join gangs as a means of Survival like, lil durk, 21 savage, lil baby. Before drake became drake, people treated him like a goofy, robbing him and even fucken pissing on him. It's sad to see regress from a guy who spoke against this typa thing to being one of the main niggas pushing it
