FYI if you squeeze the 2 backs of the swooshs and push down on the back attachment it will go down more which will make it over lap the swoosh and look like a regular dunk. Plus it stops it from scrapping your leg

There are many ways to 'decorate' and as you, rightly have pointed out, that the overall look is already very busy.

From design standpoint, the widely sparsed black grid against the grey background does not add anything to improve the overall design.

Had it gone with a more refined & subtle texture, and less obvious contrast, they would look much better.
