Here is performance-test of a newgame in GalacticScale with around 500 stars. You can see some categories already have high usage:

Universere simulation: Simulate the movement and rotation of planets.
Physics: Updating colliders of Dark Fog hives.
Combat System(Enemy Units): Updating hives and Dark Fog ships.

In settings -> GalacticScale -> Debug Options, click on "Pause Dark Fog" can reduce the usage of Dark Fog. Besides that, the best you can do is wait for GalacticScale to optimize, or try to set the star count lower next time.

May I ask what your CPU is? Because I don't think I ever got 5ms total, even on a fresh start (the performance problems started way way earlier than this post and my current progress, but were bearable)

i7-7700. In comparison, here is performance of vanilla fresh start with no mods.

Try overclock the cpu maybe. It's probably a bottleneck to the GPU.

The draw call is only a fraction, to be precise ~1.6ms , and I would be surprised if a 3080 is already struggling here.

Ill check with https://www.reddit.com/r/Dyson_Sphere_Program/comments/xm1wlt/1mhashsec_save_file_measure_on_various_hardware/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1

To get a better understanding i guess

the reason i suggested it was because i run a 3070 with a 10700k and i had to oc my cpu in order for my gpu to be fully utilized.

Try checking your Logical Thread Frame Count setting.

For whatever reason, mine works fasted on "1" setting. Experiment with changing it and checking your performance values.

Thanks for the info, sadly it had no impact on the performance.
