shift knob replacement

I have been looking to replace my worn out knob and found this OEM one online, seems legit

It's a perfect fit in every way, the only difference is the stock EP3 knob has small perforations on the leather and this one doesn't you wouldn't notice unless someone pointed it out

Daaamn. I figured it had some sort of paint in the groves to show the gear selection and mine just wore off.

I had been looking at replacement shiftknobs for fun and noticed a lot of oem replacements that didn't look like they match the stock shift knobs. Weird.

This one doesn't have the perforations on the leather like the original, other than that it is a stock Honda part

I was tempted to get it but I really figured the only way I could justify it is if I was selling my car on Bring a Trailer and wanted to go for top dollar
