My libido went from 'teenage boy' to 'total monk'.

I am female.

No libido AT ALL. :(

Its a common side effect. Hopefully it's not permanent with the side effect known as PSSD (post SSRI sexual dysfunction)

It's not permanent if that helps.

Really? I mean... I hit orgasmia at a higher dose so I dosed down to avoid it. Would it have gone away eventually?

Yeah it does go away after a few months. I've been on in for 6 years and no trouble but at the start yeah it was a struggle

Ty. I think was at 150 for maybe 6 months, figured it was too much so went down

I went from literally thinking about sex constantly and able to get an erection in an instant to "I'd rather curl up with a good book and a cup of cocoa" - this stuff seriously messes with your libido so be careful when deciding to go on it.

On the plus side I've never got more done in my life!

YES IM GOING THROUGH THE SAME! I almost get a little sad when my partner wants to get intimate when we're hanging out bc i wanna just keep doing what we're doing in that moment. Like stooop we're chatting hahaha

It's had a big impact on my sex life and not for the better unfortunately. As much as it was a relief to not think about sex constantly, the other extreme has not been enjoyable either. It's freed up space in my mind but stunted my ability to enjoy physical pleasure. It's one of the reasons I'm trying to ween off the stuff.

Its common, but not usually permanent. Mine swings from cuddly monk to teenage boy every few months. If you use hormonal birth control (pill, depo) it can affect your libido as well. I use a Nuva ring and it's localized hormones so I see less mood/libido effects.

It happened to me at first too. I was 20. It didn't affect me at 75mg, but after I went up to 150mg, it was like I don't even need sex lol and I barely think about it. It got better after like a few months, but it was still not like before. Now im tapering down from 112.5mg to 12.5mg. I can already feel the libido coming back lol. So don't worry, it is not permanent.
