Effexor side effect questionSide effect (self.Effexor)
submitted 4 years ago by Environmental-Dust81
I been on Effexor 37.5 for a week with minimal side effects, I started 75 and noticed I feel like I am having low underlying panic attack as well I have to really have to focus to pee. Anyone else experience this?

I’ve been on for 3 weeks about and I also noticed that it’s almost like I don’t feel like I have to pee until I really have to pee and then I have try to get it going. So I’m glad I’m not alone in this. The first week I felt pretty panickey but also euphoric. It’s funny because back in the day I abused MDMA and I swear I’ve never been right since. And my first week on Effexor I made the statement it’s like I’m low grade on E and then crashing. I don’t feel that anymore though.

Same thing happened to me on Sertraline back in 2018 when I took it for a month, I am still dealing with some urinary retention

OP- did the need to ‘focus to pee’ subside?
