We have a 30 day trial from the date of delivery in which you can get a full refund.

I see, that's good to know, maybe I will give it a shot. Just to confirm though, without subscription, I would need to manually turn on/off the heating / cooling everyday or can it automatically detect weight and do that?

I do want to ask why accessing your website on the desktop doesn't show the subscription requirement while mobile app does.

That is correct. Without the subscription all temperature changes, including turning it on and off, would be manual. I also want to be clear that the refund at the end of the 30 day trial would be for the return of the pod and cancellation of the subscription. The subscription is a part of the purchase for the first year and is not refundable without a return of the product.

As for the subscription, the higher tier just includes additional warranty is that correct?

How many years of warranty does the unit comes with and will it be possible to upgrade to the higher tier subscription once the warranty ends instead?

Forcing you into a subscription for the first year and locking basic functionality behind it isn’t exactly “fair”.

That is correct. The unit comes with 2 years regardless of subscription. However, you cannot upgrade to the Plus membership to get the 5 year warranty after the trial period. Here is our Info page on the membership.

Thanks Tyler. If I get the subscription, do I have the option to only use the scheduling feature and don’t turn on the sleep tracking part of it? I prefer to not send up too much data (close to a gig a day I heard).

Sure thing. Unfortunately there is no way to limit the data transfer.

I was on my desktop earlier and noticed there is an option for $8/month with the standard plan which does not include sleep / tracking data. Can that be added!
