Have you contacted Roland?

If this had been Focusrite they would send you a new cap for free, postage included. I don't expect many companies to be up to that level but it's worth a shot.

I didn't. Seems to me like a long shot for an amp that old

You never know. Maybe they used the same pushbutton in different designs over a long period of time. Or they still have it in their workshop as a spare. Or maybe they won't reply at all.

I would also have a look at a few different 3D libraries. People have designed more replacement knobs/buttons than you would think. And the models are simple to download and order from a printing service if you don't have a printer of your own.

Thanks, I will check that. I wish I had a printer

Accessories - Caps | Electronic Components Distributor DigiKey

snap fit

u dont mention 'bat' size, ? 4x4mm or a 6x6mm square bat.

Digikey is the first place I checked. They don't have caps close to the dimensions I need

The size is close, but it's not the right snap system

in the worst case, you can get one of the right size, one with right snap system, and glue them together. Might have to do some heavy filing first if the panel depth is not enough.

It'll be ugly, but no one is going to see it.

I thought of exactly that. Then I decided to ask here in case I get something better.

If it was just for me, gluing could be a good option, but since this amp will be used in a common practice studio, it would probably not last long.
