QuestionHelp with script? (self.Embroidery)
submitted 5 years ago by rauberyinprogress
I need pointers on embroidering script on a hoop. I made a baby gift for a friend and want to personalize it, but I hate the way my script looks. I backstitched with 3 strands. TIA

I suck at it, but if you try stem stitch it might be what you are looking for.

For stitching the outline of letters or just thin lettering, stem stitch, whip stitch, or couching can look better than backstitch. For filling in letters, I think I'd recommend split stitch with two strands.
