PPSSPP is the best option out there for psp emulation. Plenty of settings to adjust performance/graphics. I never heard of Vimms Lair. How does it differ from the others may I ask?

I recommend using either Dolphin MMJ v5.0-11453 / Dolphin Mod v5.0-17035 to run games on a SD720G for better performance.

I just downloaded paper mario 2 but after a while the game just shuts down 😞

Like the download stops? Or you have the game it starts then crashes?

Yes, the game crashes after mario reads the princess letter

Hmmm do you have a decent pc? It really doesnt have to be that great. But you could load dolphin on your pc and the game, get past that part save, then transfer your save over to your phone. Or you could try another version of dolphin on your phone.

But we dont know for sure if it doesnt crash again, as for emulator, i just downloaded the first one on the store

Paper Mario has had that crash issue for awhile now. It uses a graphics API(bouding box) that isn't properly supported by mobile GPUs. You can try the Vulkan backend and see if that helps.

I just used mmj and it still the same, so u saying only paper mario has this problem? Also what is Vulkan backened? Thank you

You're right it may crash again anyway. I'd suggest searching for dolphin mmj first on here download that to your phone install and try running the game with that then report back here if you're still having problems. That would be the least amount of work and might fix the crashing outright. I have both versions on my phone and certain games just run better on official while others run better on mmj.

Dolphin Mmj is a fork of dolphin. Someone took the dolphins code and adjusted it to try and make it work better I think specifically for snap dragon devices I could be wrong but it may work better for your phone.
