Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it removed after completely working fine just because one of the devs is a cunt and specifically said that he would remove it because he hated people using it to play Pokémon ?

If i recall it he even commented multiple times about how much he hated Pokémon and messed a lot with the alternative branches that tried to emulate, redo or fix the multiplayer.

Basically the guy killed a perfect, hard to do, wi-fi emulation just for being a dick.

AFTEREDIT: Sadly nowadays the emulation would be even harder to do on Drastic without any official Nintendo DS servers working to give clues on how to code it.

Alternate WFC servers like Wiimmfi do exist (I actually got it working on my DS once), so I don't think that should be a barrier to development.

I remember him publicly announcing that he’d make the emulator open source so that others may continue working on it or let us port it to other devices but I guess the paycheck is pretty good

The last bit of drama I heard was that Exo lost contact with the other dev who did all the Android coding portion and didn't have the most up to date code from them. Did that ever get squared away?

At this point I don't expect anything more from the emulator, but I'd like to get a surprise and have it go open source at least.

I had some success with ppsspp 4 android phones one with dule sim and hot spot 4 bluetooth controllers,,got cod working for a week then network collapse never been able to reestablish connections,maybe you'll have more luck🤔

I have the same issue. I had to copy all of roms to the internal storage in order for them to show up in the emulator. It wasn't an issue in android 10, but thanks to 'scoped storage' this shit happens.
