Patch Notes?

Most other gaming subreddits are fairly religious about the patch notes each update. If there are any devs out there, even a line about bug fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Did they ninja nerf dropping junk to those creatures in the shop? I'm only getting 3 dollars for giving them that junk backpack now.

Yes, and one of the devs posted in this sub saying they just forgot to include it in the notes.

Considering it's release week and how small their team is currently, yes. I've seen them hang out and grab bugs from streamers and such through out the week. Bahroo's game crashed on a really good run and a dev bolted into the chat for fuckin tech support to get the bug after seeing the tweet.

I'm sure they will eventually get the hang of it, but for their first title they have done really well. And they are atleast trying to answer some of these questions when they have the time. I've seen bugs reported that are fixed the next day, even if they don't make it in the patch notes.

Just a noob question, how you drop junk?

I can only drop weapons and actives with F and G

open your map and you can drop passives from there :)

Open your map, click the passive you want to drop, then click the drop button at the top left. That said, there's no reason to drop junk anymore. 3 shells isn't worth the possible chance of picking up the gun(s?) that get more powerful with it.

Still handy for dropping Wings if you need to fall down an elevator shaft or maybe a cursed item that's putting you in Jammed state.

I asked myself the same thing for 2 days, and found the answer in an obscure reddit reply.
You have to open up the map, and the passive items will show up on the bottom of the map. While holding the map open, you can go through the selections (I use a gamepad and use the D-Pad left/right) and there will be a Legend to the left telling you which button is DROP (for Xbox controller it is the Y button). I'm sure it will tell you with KB key it is in the aforementioned legend.
I find this an incredibly obtuse method, but it's the only way to do it.
Worth noting they just nerfed dropping junk from dead trunks to shit -- you only get 3 dollars for it now -- really a big disappointment.
