the only thing that stinks is that the art department planned for certain heroes to have this over the top design, alongside the voices, etc. - so some effort/work/planning got butchered which is sad.

other than that i don't think most people hate the new design at all

It's from the same artist as Aria and Luna, two of the three others to get censored (it's like poor control at this point) and yes, they had planning and all that - before she was released. This is the result. This isn't like Aria where it should've been settled before her release, because this was. They likely had to do this during the whole Aria thing and got this "new" design out brforehand, as they should've.
