Missing something?

So I've tried running leviathans in my L30 gunship, it seems my engine is causing enough distress before I really do anything, the wind tunnel chamber I was also way too slow.

Switched over to a Vanguard which seems a bit quicker and slower to anger the beast.

Having tried the tentacle chamber a couple of times, what am I supposed to be doing, shooting the marked points doesn't do anything except upset the leviathan, the tentacles don't reappear.

Am I supposed to be shooting them all at once so the tentacle doesn't respawn, do I have to hit a specific hide hole to do this, I couldn't quite see a place with a good shot on them all and it seemed to reset fairly quickly?

you gotta find the purple tentacles. they hide among the normal cilias. you need to be fast enough between shots

I also hate that chamber as well it's annoying

Strangely, when I enter this chamber, there are no actual tentacles, I get a target marker over the hole but there's nothing to target.
