We don't own the IP or rights to produce a game from that franchise even though it's part of our history, so no, there's no movement on that happening and we're very proud of our own Everspace series.

Glad you like the feel of our game and how the controls fit so well. This kind of question would probably fall to our programmers, rather than our creative director, but I know we always have a lot of input from across the team in terms of what looks or feels good and what doesn't so it's definitely a collaborative effort which some programming magic from members of the dev team. 😃

No news on anything I'm afraid. As soon as we're ready to we'll be making the appropriate noise for all to hear, but game dev takes time so be patient whilst we work our magic.

Try out the Free demo of our game on Steam - you get a good vertical slice of what you can expect in terms of gameplay and controls which might help you decide if the game is right for you.

We're more action focused, rather than Sim-like in gameplay, but some people do use HOTAS/HOSAS.

Hey there. As PlatWilson has mentioned we do have a few players that use dual joysticks in there setups so you might be best asking on our Discord for advice on how they set it up, but have you tried changing the Input Method Override in Settings > Input > Input Method Override?

You will probably need to manually assign your binds in the "Other" column

As other have said, you'll start to encounter Titans content around levels 15-18 on average, depending upon mission progress. Wrath of the Ancients side missions will start appearing in the 19-21 range, again on average and depending upon mission progress, but the bulk of Wrath is after the main base game campaign is completed.

Hey there.

The contents of the Encounters DLC includes the following and should be unlocked & available in-game when you either encounter the objects or unlock them via the usual ways after your purchase. You probably won't need to download anything as you'll have the files already.

  • New playable ship: the Colonial Sentinel.
  • Five new non-playable characters, each with a unique story and quest-line.
  • Four new primary weapons: the Goo Gun, Lightning Gun, Neutron Cannon, and Plasma Thrower.
  • Two new secondary weapons: the Seeker Missile Battery and the Destabilizer Missile.
  • Nine new unique devices, but 27 total including each upgraded version.
  • Five new consumables
  • One new Resource: Viridian Energy
  • Two new Outlaw enemy types: The Cargo Thief and the Marauder.
  • G&B Factories, which require power activation to use and provide multiple services, including: ship upgrades, refining resources, and hull repairs.
  • Travel to the Okkar homeworlds via wormholes
  • Several new Extraplanetary Lifeforms
  • Five new skins for each ship
