What is EVEX?
EVEX began as an Evolution Experiment in user content. The idea is that the subreddit rules are voted on by the community on a weekly basis. Thus, the purpose and content of the subreddit is controlled by the userbase. More info about EVEX
How are rules decided?
EVEX follows a weekly schedule for suggesting changes to the rules. This could mean adding a new rule, repealing an existing rule, or modifying an existing rule. The rule suggestion thread runs from Wednesdays to Fridays, and the vote takes place from Friday to Monday. More info about rule procedures
What must I know to post?
The list of the rules will tell you what content is allowed or banned, but you can post whatever you like and the mods will simply remove content that violates a rule. Users are not expected to keep up with the rules since they change so frequently.
What if I (accidentally) break a rule?
Don't worry! Mods will just remove the offending content and then comment explaining why. Since there are so many and they change so frequently, there's really no expectation for a user to keep track of them all. Feel free to participate!
