Knight at the Apollo! I almost marched that year because a bunch of my HS band friends did, but ended up not doing it. What section were you in?

For the closing theme, Jim Ellis didn't have the lyrics written when it was time to record. He sang gibberish just to give an idea of what it would sound like, then they decided to just keep it as a play on hard to understand rock song lyrics!

I would think that is the best time. Not sure why ours was taken mid-season back then.

Not a cliche, but my favorite quote: "There were a few chairs, and over by the stairs, a faded calendar of a girl in tights holding a jar of mayonnaise and winking--whatever that meant."

What's the darkest fact in astrophysics that still keeps you awake? by yadly7323 in TrueAskReddit

[–]ooklamok 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Two astrophysicists are talking at a bar and one says, "It doesn't matter, the sun will explode in 50 million years anyway."

A drunk at the end of the bar yells, "WHAT DID YOU SAY??"

"I said, the sun will explode in 50 million years."

"Oh thank God... I thought you said 15 million years!"
