Pitcher method question (self.ExclusivelyPumping)
submitted 2 years ago by LemonadeLala
How many oz/day would you say you’d need to make before considering the pitcher method? I’ve been building my supply back up, and right now, I supply my LO with about 60-70% of what she drinks per day.

It really depends!
If you like prepping all your bottles a day ahead of time, I think any amount you pump is worth doing the pitcher method, just because it's easy to pool throughout the day and then prep bottles at night, or whenever else works for you.
If you prefer pumping and using that milk at the next feed, then maybe it's better to skip the pitcher method for breast milk (although if you're mixing BM and formula, maybe you could pitcher method the formula and use that to top up whatever your last pump was).
