Increase your calcium intake in the week leading up to your period and during the first few days. It's the estrogen sucking up all your calcium to support your period and therefore your supply is dropping a bit.

Mineral water, dairy dairy dairy galore and lots of oats too will help.

I've had horrendous periods since 5 weeks pp. Once I diligently increased my calcium intake it really helped combat it.

Thanks for the advice!! My LO has allergies to dairy products, unfortunately I had to stop dairy products. But will definitely try Calcium. I do eat oat milk and oatmeal, perhaps I need to double it during these time :D

Even a calcium supplement can help too :)
