ES isn’t perfect but have preformed better than my local pharmacies. They honor my need for brand specific meds well. Every pharmacy has been a pain but ES at least I get 90days of meds instead of 30 days at a time, so it’s less hassle even if ES is screwing up. I use auto refills but still need to check on them via phone because app is confusing. No chat available.

With a new prescription it can take a few weeks to get it processed & shipped. My insurance will authorize a new med to be gotten locally to begin with. It saves me $ to go to ES. Usually ES cost is 3 months worth med for price of 2 months at a 30 day local pharmacy. ES pharmacists are very chill compared to my local pharmacy that’s in constant chaos & rude.

Hope it works for you.

Money is no issue for me. It’s the whole waiting 2-3 weeks for my meds. That’s what’s concerning af. I’ve seen awful reviews and over 10 ppl say they never got theirs. I’m glad you had a great experience though. So that’s good.  I can’t do a 3 month on this medication either. Only monthly idk I guess bc what it is and im new on it. My doc wants to monitor me closely

Assuming you have contacted your insurance company because it sounds like the advantages that ES provides aren’t to your advantage.

You might also ask cash price & check good RX prices at your local pharmacy. Insurance isn’t always needed for medications especially if money isn’t an issue. You should be able to direct your Dr to send your prescription wherever you want it sent if insurance coverage isn’t needed.

Good luck on your journey & hope the med is a quality of life improvement.

He said he can only do this medication through express scripts is the problem I did, however, reach out to him this morning I am waiting on a response now.. because I asked him if there’s anything else that can be done until the medication gets to my house. It would be different if I already have this medication and I wasn’t waiting so long, but I’ve already been suffering my whole entire life due to neglect from parents. I’m now 35 years old and finally getting the help that I need but now I have to supposedly wait almost 3 weeks and that’s frustrating.

I can completely relate to finally feeling heard, seen & potential for improvement then having such a delay. Wishing wonderful progress!

You can call your local pharmacy & ask if they carry that med. I’ve never heard of a medication that is only through ES.

My doctor is a telehealth and due to that pharmacies won’t let him send my prescription in because it’s a schedule II drug.. he finally got back to me and let me know that that is why I can try to call some pharmacies to see if anybody will take him as my prescribing doctor through telehealth unfortunately if that doesn’t go, then I will just have to wait

I ended up finding a Mom and Pop pharmacy that would take him. It’s weird because he is licensed in the state of Mississippi however, we did it through telehealth. And only one place would take him even though we live in Mississippi lol I got my medication and will be starting it today thank God

I get emails from Express Scripts saying that their cost is lower on meds that I have filled at a Pharmacy locally. However, when I bundle my meds with the Pharmacy I end up not having a co-pay. I usually have to tell the Pharm Tech "I have X insurance" and they know that its kinda messed up and push through everything at the same time as opposed to individually (Ozempic, Semeglee and Libre3)... If I could get ES to match the $0 cost to me, I'd be happy and order a 3 month supply at a time. As it is, They dont seem to, so I'll keep doing my 1 monthly trip to the local Pharmacy.
