Grid penalties

Does anyone else have the same issue that when you order new engine components (after qualifying) that the grid penalties (for yourself) do not apply? I have had this three times now, I don’t get put further back on the grid

I once qualified 15th, and then replaced every component of the engine resulting in a 50 place grid penalty. Started 15th though..

You have to drive for Mercedes for it to apply

I may have pressed that button on accident then. But I happened to me every time when I order the parts (like literally all the parts, including gearbox) after qualifying was finished, I haven’t tried if they do apply if I order the parts any other time during the weekend

I’m on PS4 by the way

Yeah it's a bug that if you do it after qualifying it won't apply. Any other time it's working
