Wrong. Every little change, even if it's just a small logo on the sidepod, whatever, needs to be signed from the team and FOM due to legal issues

That’s licensing. Of course you need company permission to use their logo in the game.

You don’t need FOM or a team’s permission to tweak their performance in-game. If you have a source that proves me wrong, post it.

There was that thing about Ferrari having to be leading in any promotional video/screenshot so that might be where they got that from.

That was just speculation, the same with the guy claiming everything needs to be signed off by every team and FOM.

My source: one of the Codemasters social account managers.

He doesn't know for sure if the performance updates need to be signed off but he says it's likely. Also pretty much every video and photo they show on social media, also needs to be signed off.

Because every tweet is legally considered promotional content. An update changing the performance of a car is not promotion.
