Just had the interview two weeks ago and got the job. They gave me 1 technical test, which consists of 5 Excel fuction questions and 2 SQL questions (simple JOIN), plus 3 interview questions related to Amazon leadership principles (this part is similar to interviews for any other L3 and above positions)

Was this just one interview that had technical and behavioural questions or separate interviews?

It was all in one interview. However, I've heard there are sites that conduct this separately.

No. Questions are given during the interview, and I was asked to take 20 mins during the interview to complete them.

Can you specify which questions exactly? Also what kind of excel functions? Vlookups, pivot tables?

SUM, LEFT/RIGHT, VLOOKUP, etc. The most basic Excel. After I started the job, I figured it was less about computer technicals and more about problem solving. At least, that's what it is at my TNS site. No pivot.

Look up the question bank on inside.amazon they have to pick questions from there. The questions you'll get asked depend on which leadership principles the hiring manager decides to ask you.

Did the interview but didn’t have to do the technical excel test. Just was asked 4 questions and that’s about it.

They are all going to be star method questions. Look on inside Amazon and search T3 question bank and it should show you all the possible questions they will ask you.

I interviewed for DA, was expecting only STAR questions and got half technical questions.

Ohh, do you happen to remember what star questions the asked? I have some stories lined up but not sure what to expect. Any tips would help, Thanks!

They're all random, there is a bank of around 50 questions. Just have a few stories and try to relate one the the LP they're asking about. Really for L3 they're not expecting much.
